For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Male was seen perched high on the side of the nest. It is likely that female was down low in nest (which has very high sides), but could not be seen.

Other Activity: Male was on nearby perch post eating a fish. Female was on nest hunkered down low. As I was leaving, she stood up, spread wings and was tending to something in the nest.

Weather Conditions: 64 degrees Partly sunny. Not much wind.

Other Activity: One (presumably female) was low in the nest popping up occasionally. The presumed male was on the fish pole adjacent to nest pole with a fish. He stayed in the pole for the duration looking around frequently but did not eat the fish. Female not calling for fish.
