For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. General Comments: Went on the off chance of a bird being present despite nest having failed. Sure enough one adult on post away from nest finishing eating. Flew off -circled area then headed up Muddy Creek. Fairly sure this was male but not certain.

Other Activity: Adult female, osprey and fledgling flying around platform. Two other nestlings still occupying the nest… upon departure, all four were in and around the nest!
Observation Method: Drove into the construction site for the new Revere high school.
General Comments: Spoke to the site super. He showed me some photographs that the engineers of the project took from the parking garage across the street. Looking directly into the nest. I will try to give it a go to the next time I head out to the Wonderland site.

General Comments: Again, the heat shimmer was tough, and this is a challenging nest to see into under the best of circumstances. I waited a long time to finally see movement of a chick. She was behind the mother, so not a clear picture. I hope there are others, but thus far I have not seen them. One is great for this nest, which has never been successful. I'm thrilled!

Other Activity: On the way over from Brophy, we could see 4 osprey on the nest. The second adult then flew off and landed on a distant perch in the marsh. There were 2 very large 'nestlings'(only because we didn't observe them flying. There was one adult behind them. One of the nestlings was self feeding., and it seems likely there had been a fish drop off. The nestlings are just about adult size.
