For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Fledgling was perched on nest and calling to be fed. An adult flew in from the river and delivered a fish to the fledgling. This also happened the day before, so the fledgling appears not to be able to feed itself yet.

Other Activity: Male perched on pole, nestling alternately napping and perching with wing stretching and light flapping. Adult left and returned with a catch that the nestling fed on.

General Comments: I'm assuming this is the male from Holy I Plat#1 since he was perched there almost as often as at the nest during female nesting. also assuming other osprey observed are fledglings, but didn't get a good enough view to be certain.
