For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Both parents were hanging out in the nest. I saw one fly off, I believe it was the female, while the male stayed behind to feed one of the chicks. The second chick looks ready to fledge. I didn't see the third chick.

Other Activity: we must be nearing fledgling time, as an adult flew back and forth along the water's edge/tree edge several times before perching atop the tower over the nest, with a smaller head watching the activity.
