For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

General Comments: Previously we could only see two nestlings, and then we were away for a week. Upon return, it is clear that there are 3, which we can confirm from two separate observations in last evening and this afternoon.

General Comments: 2nd day here, Osprey perched again, basically zero nesting material, no chicks , no incubating behavior, nest seems like it has failed.

General Comments: I sat and watched the nest, no chicks observed in the nest, one adult on the ground and another on the perch. After watching the nest for 15+ mins no signs of chicks moving, no adults going to the nest. Seems like this nest has failed. Used spotting scope.
