Where are Osprey Nesting?

For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Female in shallow incubating position but we haven't seen a mate yet. Likely the same female as last yr that had no mate.

General Comments: Nest is still quite small. Its resting on the end of a piling with only one dayboard to contain it.

General Comments: We have been away for 10 days. It seems pretty clear on our return that the female is sitting on eggs. She is consistently low in the nest.
