For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Female was incubating facing one way. She got up at one point and leaned down into the nest and moved her head a bit. Then she turned around and got back into her incubating position facing the other way.

Other Activity: Adult perched edge of the nest. The nest appears to have a bright green rope (I think) near the edge, some new plastic pieces and a few new stickes

Other Activity: One Osprey occupying nest/mail flying around and above platform
Observation Method: Arrived via boat and walked through March to platform to correct plumbness of post.
General Comments: Greenbelt coordinator, Dave Rimmer and I arrived to straightened up post as it was leaning quite heavily. Due to an egg being inside the nest, we could not straighten up the nest itself. Possible return to remove the over abundance of Nessie material to a manageable level and reset platform
