Number of Adults Visible: 3
Number of Nestlings Visible:
Number of Fledglings Visible:
Weather Conditions: 82 degrees, 16 mph wind gusts, little cloud cover
Other Activity: One Osprey could be seen sitting in the nest and occasionally adjusting their position. Most of the time just the tips of their wings while resting were visible, only popped their head out once while turning around. I was getting back in my vehicle after typing this when I heard the Osprey in the nest started making all sorts of calls, the second Osprey flew in, followed closely by the infamous third Osprey. The second Osprey landed on the nest, spread his wings and was shouting at the third Osprey who did a couple laps but didn’t try to get to the nest too closely and flew off. The two osprey switched places on the nest, with the first one landing on the pole to the left after. The osprey in the nest was very on guard afterwards and appeared to be yelling at the crows flying by before settling into the nest.
Observation Method: In my vehicle from cvs parking lot and on foot in the park.
