Where are Osprey Nesting?

For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Based on the interactive nest site map, I believe it has to be Walker Creek that I could see looking SE from the east side of Conomo Point

Observation Method: Observed from the eastern side of Conomo Point through the scope and SE across the marsh

Weather Conditions: 51 degrees, N 2 MPH, partly sunny with a little fog still

Other Activity: 2 osprey were at the nest platform, 1 in the incubating position most of the time. The osprey got up once and moved around a bit and then went back into the incubating position. It's possible it's just testing the nest bowl though.
