Where are Osprey Nesting?
For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Weather Conditions: Partly cloudy, 71 degrees
Other Activity: My observations were viewing the webcam. Liz came to the nest visibly wet, but without a fish. She spent time drying off. As she was drying and grooming, Squam brought her a fish and flew off. 15 minutes later Squam brought Liz a second fish, dropped it and flew off. Liz remained eating the fish in her clutch, while the 2nd fish remained on the nest. At 2:40pm Liz took off from the nest, still clutching the fish.
Observation Method: Via Live Ospreycam at the LobstaLand Platform.
General Comments: This was an exciting year watching the Ospreys. Your organization has done a wonderful job with this program. I am glad I join.
