For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Weather Conditions: 72 degrees, calm, partly cloudy

Other Activity: Squam, the adult male, and Liz, the fledgling both flew in to the nest, with Squam providing a fish for Liz. This happened approximately 10:20 am.

Observation Method: webcam

General Comments: Notes on the ecga.org page had said that Squam had not been sighted on the nest for a week. However, both the adult and fledgling were in the nest together at this time.

Other Activity: The fledging has a half eaten fish but squawks constantly rather than eating. Other Activity: The young Osprey was in the nest alone, squawking. All of a sudden the adult Osprey landed and then took off, leaving a fish for the fledgling.
