For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: 6-7:30 Bob watching the nest Noon - Pauline arrives and watches the nest from a nearby tree. Bob starts furiously bringing in marsh grass and large branches. 5pm - Pauline joins him in the nest. Sitting side by side.

General Comments: with alot of disruptions of the birds setting up the camera we are happy to be done pushing them off the nest. The pair is now settled in and bringing nesting material into the nest. Interesting the pair is alot less vocal with each other this season than last.
