For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: This was a quick observation as I was out on a kayak tour with others so only could watch for a few minutes.

Other Activity: female is sitting deep in the nest on eggs. male is perched on Platform 3 after bringing a fish to the female.

Other Activity: one OSPR perched, one OSPR probably incubating but position and distance prevented confirmed 2nd OSPR. A CU of the nest seemed to show the 2nd OSPR's head mostly obscured.

Other Activity: Female was incubating. Sometime later the male arrived with soft nesting material then remained perched.

Other Activity: None visible from different sighting points. 20 minutes later, one arrived and the other emerged from incubating. That one took twig from the other, positioned it, then left. The other disappeared down into the nest.

Observation Method: foot

General Comments: Height of nest makes it hard to see osprey incubating.
