For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: one adult on nest perch, 2 juvs in nest; 2nd adult flew in, then went to post perch with fish, feeding itself; it left to chase off a third Osprey, then returned to post; adult at nest went down into the nest and began feeding one of the juvs

Other Activity: Annie still on nest post with one chick; the stronger one who flew off after banding hasn't returned to nest yet. I haven't watched since the chick was banded, so it may have returned once and then flew off again.
