Volunteers from North Shore Amateur Astronomy Club will set up their large telescopes at the top the hill and will guide participants in this fun stargazing night for all ages! Each astronomer will focus their telescope on a different area of the sky, so you can visit each station to learn about the nebulae, galaxies, stars, and other objects you see.
The perseid meteor shower will also be happening, which you can watch with the naked eye whenever you’re not looking through a ‘scope!
You are welcome to bring a small camp chair, if you’d like (but you’ll be walking up the hill, so bring a light one!).
Sign up early—this event always sells out!
