Visit one of the Marine Biological Laboratory field stations in Rowley where research teams from various universities study the marsh and its flora and fauna.
Anne Giblin, Senior Scientist and Director at The Ecosystems Center, will break down what the researchers have been studying, what they've found, and what that means for the Great Marsh right here on the North Shore. You'll learn about bacteria source tracking, clam proliferation, sediment accumulation, and the state of vegetation on the marsh. There will be time for questions after the presentation.
