Learn How To Take a Light Pollution Reading from a Greenbelt Staff Member
This is a How-To session to prepare people to take part in the Light Pollution Community Science Project on their own!

Join Greenbelt and Hamilton DarkSky to learn how to take a light pollution reading using only your phone!

We will meet at Dodge Farm in Wenham on August 19 and a Greenbelt staff member will walk attendees through the process of taking a light pollution reading.

When you leave this event, you will be equipped to take light pollution readings on your phone wherever you go in the world! This data will contribute to an international database of light pollution readings used by scientists and dark sky advocates in our region and across the globe!

All you need is your phone and an internet connection.

The more data we all collect, the more accurate a picture scientists have of where dark sky corridors exist and where we need to work to improve our light pollution rating.
