Misunderstood Creatures
Greenbelt’s Annual Film & Lecture Series, now in its 9th year, returns with a focus on “Misunderstood Creatures.” This free public series features five engaging events designed to spark curiosity and deepen our connection with the natural world.
This year’s lineup will be enriched by regional naturalists who will share their expertise on local critters that are mysterious, misunderstood, or both. Whether you’ve ever wondered how to tell a coywolf from a coyote, questioned whether you spotted a crow or a raven, or been curious about what ants eat when they aren’t raiding your kitchen, these speakers will debunk common myths and reveal the surprising ways animals have adapted to life alongside humans.
