For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Other Activity: One adult perched on nest, one adult flying nearby returned to nest, two fledglings flying nearby returned to nest. I saw just the head of a much smaller bird in the nest. It only moved its head and did not stand up. When I left, both the adult birds and the 2 fledglings were perched on the side of the nest. This is the first time I could definitely see that there was indeed a third chick.

Other Activity: 2 birds on nest, think one nestling and one adult. Another adult landed and 2nd adult left and then 1st left. One nestling left. Saw none flying and this one didn't flap it's wings. Wonder if one I saw perched on other utility pole across 107 was just another osprey not related? Thinking something happened to one or else other chick fledged.

General Comments: Very hard to tell young from adults from that distance, mostly in silhouette.
