For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

General Comments: Dave, Em has 2 blinds listed for Laws Creek. I just submitted a report for Laws Creek Duck Blind IPS-10, probably abandoned. We saw one osprey perched on what Em has listed as Laws Creek Blind #2, but I am not submitting a report. I am confused about the nest listings here.

General Comments: Not low in nest so unsure if there was egg incubation going on. Could observe GLO-3 from this nest and I saw no osprey in GLO-3. Agin I wonder if it the same couple going between nests. Time will tell. I will revisit this nest mid afternoon today.

General Comments: The osprey did not appear to be sitting deep in nest but hopefully there are eggs. I can see GLO-3 and as reported earlier in the day I saw no activity at GLO-3 but distance may be the reason. Will recheck GLO-3. This weekend.
