For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Female was incubating, male arrived with a fish, he took over the incubating while she went to a lower crossbar on the tower. She ate ravenously for some time then eventually pooped and flew down to the brush on the ground with the rest of the fish.

Other Activity: 1 osprey landed on the nest, flew, landed on nest again, meanwhile 3 other osprey arrived from S or SW and circled overhead for several minutes. a fourth osprey arrived from SE about the time that the three others left. The fourth overhead osprey landed and copulated with the first osprey, then both flew away.
