For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Other Activity: Adults perched, nestlings showed heads intermittently. Adults left nest several times to chase gulls away from rocks below. Male left after tide covered rocks and gulls stopped coming.

General Comments: Only saw two nestling heads at a time but positions suggest there may be more than two.

Weather Conditions: 74 - breezy- sunny
Other Activity: the two adult osprey were standing in the nest calling loudly while another adult osprey was flying around. The adults stopped calling about 5 min. after the other osprey left the area but continued to stand at alert. Finally, I could see the head of one of the chicks and the adults turned to it. I did not see them feed and could not tell if there are other chicks. It is difficult to see into the nest.
