For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. General Comments: I visited this nest three times today. 2:15. 3:11, 4:00. So combining my general observations. I am trying to determine if we have 2 nesting pairs (GLO-2 and GLO3) or one pair traveling between both nests. At 2:15 there were no osprey visible on GLO2 but I could see osprey on GLO3. At 3:11 we had 2 Osprey on GLO2. Both standing on rim of nest. Neither inside the nest. One was feeding on a fish. No visible signs of feeding nestlings. At 4:00 I visited GLO3. No osprey visible on The nest or perched nearby. I could see 2 occupying GLO2.

Other Activity: What a joy! Both parents are in the nest and the kids are jumping around and flapping their little wings. Bob has been bringing in fresh marsh grass and the two parents are busy housekeeping. The kids are going crazy - they are moving together in unison in their antics. It is amazing how thick their necks have gotten not to mention they look like real birds now.

General Comments: Both parents have been involved in feeding. Unlike last year when little Rudy did not get fed as much as his older brother, this year both kids are equally strong and equally fed.
