For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: 1 osprey on nest, second landed facing away but wings mostly but not fully folded, creating a bigger image (similar to that seen in confrontations a bird feeder). Third osprey landed on marsh about 40-50' in front of second osprey which moved to marsh about 15' from blind. Third osprey then flew to about 250' away on marsh and second osprey flew back up on to blind. After several minutes of no change I moved on to other nests before tide fell too far.
