For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Appeared to stand up but might have landed while I watched other 2 that were perched, one on higher perch very near platform, one on low perch nearby. Think those were adults, couldn't tell about one in nest. Light bad and far for my equipment! Need a scope...

Other Activity: Jake is learning some tough lessons from his dad. The dad has not brought in any food this morning. Jake is screeching loudly, flying off the nest and circling his dad who is on the marsh post, and then flies back to the nest. He has done this over and over for the past 30 minutes. I believe the dad is trying to get him to go find his own fish.
