For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

General Comments: While looking back at the time stamp I noted a male ? osprey on the perch (once on the nesting platform). He stayed on the perch from 6:34am until a bit after 7:00 am.

Other Activity: The female osprey has returned and is actively rearranging the nest and bringing more material. The male has perched on platform 2 part of the time. They were together briefly on the nest platform.
