For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Osprey was probably squatted. It was deep into the nest and only the head was visible. Mate was not seen. Nest has been built up above the winter damage.

Other Activity: Female was squatted on the nest, male was below on tower cross bar feeding. At one point another osprey intruded above the nest and the female rose and opened her wings and the intruder left. After feeding, the male stayed perched but eventually left.
