For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Other Activity: Both adults were perched on the side of the nest when I arrived. One was bending into the nest on a regular basis. One adult flew away after 5 minutes while the other remained on the side of the nest and continuing to bend into the nest. The nest is far from land but it seems like the eggs have hatched.

Other Activity: one bird on nest, incubating; second bird flew in with small fish, deposited it on edge of platform; the two interacted a bit, then first bird flew with the fish over to the post perch and began feeding itself - so I feel that means no hatchlings yet, or they would have been fed
