For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. General Comments: I have watched for a few weeks, seeing one or sometimes two Osprey on the posts and/or platform. However, each time I see one I check Platform #4 and either see one adult there or none. When I have observed two (rarely) on #2, the #4 platform is empty. I think we have the returned pair from Platform #4 touching down on the #2 platform on and off, but the pair appears to go back to #4 at night. Most of the time #2 platform is empty.

General Comments: Arrived to see the male and female actively mating. Both left the nest at the same time...the nest is getting quite large as they have been working on it a lot. Both came back with branches or nesting material. Male left 4-5 times with nesting material....very busy!
