For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Adult perched on crossbar down below, 3 young perched on the nest. Later one young flew off, another a few minutes later, then the third also, all down in the same direction toward the clearing.

Other Activity: 2 adult osprey flew around the nest, hovered over the nest flapping, and circled a bit. Both flew off in different directions. Only the nestling was in the nest, first perched and then crouched down.
