For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: 1 on nest, then 2nd arrived and both standing, then one left, and 1st sat down again. @nd flew off over marsh and encountered another osprey, and the two kept flying at each other without touching and going down then parting and going up and starting again, then 3rd osprey flew away over marsh and other (2nd) flew to tower near nest.

Other Activity: Male Osprey brought a fish to female who was in the nest. The female flew to a nearby tree to eat the fish. The male remained in the nest.
