For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Osprey 1 observed sitting low in nest. Osprey 2 was perched on nearby post. Shortly after arrival Osprey 2 departed, and headed out over Coffins beach. Osprey 1 remained in nest

Other Activity: Osprey 1 siting low in nest. Osprey 2 flew in and landed at nest empty handed. Osprey 2 left within 60 seconds of returning. Osprey 1 remained in nest.

Weather Conditions: windy partly cloudy.

Other Activity: There are the typical pair on the nest but a female, seeming to be unbounded was trying desperately to land on the nest with them. The male and female were both on the nest and the male defended it and she flew off after circling around several times.
