For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: So today was interesting. The mail from platform number one was sitting eating a fish on the marsh. Female was also in the nest on platform number one. He flew with a fish and thinking he may bring it to platform number one he brought it to platform number two and she took the fish and flew into the tree and at this moment she is eating it. He is sitting on eggs. in platform number two

General Comments: This is the most unusual thing I have ever seen a polygamist male with two females on eggs.

Other Activity: There is a female osprey sitting on platform number one. I am wondering if this is the same one that was going after platform number two at Cox. Yesterday I did see a male. She is now flying off. hopefully she will be back.

Other Activity: Osprey 1 observed sitting low in nest. Osprey 2 was perched on nearby post. Shortly after arrival Osprey 2 departed, and headed out over Coffins beach. Osprey 1 remained in nest

Other Activity: Osprey 1 siting low in nest. Osprey 2 flew in and landed at nest empty handed. Osprey 2 left within 60 seconds of returning. Osprey 1 remained in nest.
