Other Activity: Exciting day in osprey-land! At first I just observed one bird sitting on the nest. After a little while, she was restless and got up and stretched and started calling before nestling in again. Soon after that, 3 osprey were circling near the nest, one with a fish (presumably the mate). I think they may have been playing with him or trying to steal the fish. She popped her head out of the nest and flew with the others for a couple of minutes then went back to ther nest. I suspect they were last years fledglings, or friends, because none of it seemed aggressive. The one with the fish waited on the tower for a few minutes and then instead of bringing the fish to the nest, flew in the direction of the others. I waited for a while and he didn't come back, but they all were still calling. I followed the calls, and eventually saw him come back about 15 mins later.
