For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: You could just see Ethel's head and tail at the top of the nest. Her head was moving up and down as if she was eating a fish,

General Comments: Fred was nowhere to be seen.

Other Activity: Caught the slightest glimpse of a nestling. Female sitting higher in the nest than in the past few weeks but still looks like she is incubating but maybe the difference is chicks vs eggs Male stopped in for a brief visit

Weather Conditions: 57 degrees, no wind, flat water, hazy, cloudy

Other Activity: Both Osprey were visible perched on nest. They were not moving too much and did not leave the nest. They did appear to be continuing to look down into the nest.

Other Activity: Two ospreys perched on ground or stakes below the nest.

General Comments: Not able to see well enough to say if there is anything in the nest. Viewing from other side also looks like nest is empty.

Other Activity: One on lower crossbar that left as soon as we arrived. The one incubating was quite active, moving and shifting around and partially lifted though not standing.
