For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: I checked Round Island again after doing the Choate Loop. This time the adult was perched up on the post, and no adult was down in the nest.

Other Activity: Annie on nest rearranging a number of sticks in order to make the nest more comfortable and spacious for the increasing size of the chicks.

Other Activity: 2 adults were in the nest. One kept leaning forward as though feeding young, but I couldn't specifically see chicks or a fish. When one of the adults departed, the remaining osprey continued the same behavior.
