Number of Adults Visible: `

Number of Nestlings Visible: 0

Number of Fledglings Visible: 0

Weather Conditions: Foggy

Other Activity:

Observation Method: Visual, at times with spotting scope, from house window

General Comments: It appears that something has happened in this nest, and the two nestlings observed a week ago may no longer be present. A week ago, two nestlings were clearly visible. We were away for a few days in the middle of the week. Since our return yesterday, the male has been absent. The email is just perched on the nest. At times she is gone. When she is clearly feeding, there seems no effort to feed nestlings. No nestlings have been visible. The only nest based activity we can observe is the female occasionally moving sticks in the nest. She is silent most of the time. Sad news to contemplate.
