For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Other Activity: One fledgling was perched at the top of a dead tree above an adult. Another adult was perched in a second tree near the nest. The second fledgling was on the nest but flapped its wings several times and lifted off once.

Weather Conditions: calm, 77, hazy, thin clouds, high tide around 8:30 am:
Other Activity: :18 am. No osprey at nest. 9:22 one adult at nest 9:24 another adult flying nearby then disappears Soon the male reappears with a nice fish, brings to nest. I can see one baby. He leaves after a short time. She keeps on feeding the baby. He leaves, returns with his own fish, eats it on top of pylon I walked further up path to get a better look. One baby clear, big. Thought I had a glimpse of a second but can't be sure. I left 9:54 she still there, he gone

Other Activity: Adult osprey was perched on nest. Smaller osprey kept raising its head and then did come up next to the adult. I only saw one smaller bird and I wasn't sure if it would still be a nestling or qualify as a fledgling. It was not moving its wings as much as the one in the Beverly Channel Marker nest.

Other Activity: The two very large adult osprey were perched on the nest. I could not see any nestlings but one of the adults was busy poking its head down in the nest.
