Where are Osprey Nesting?

For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: nest #1, osprey on perchstick preening. Nest #2 has one osprey on perch eating a fish and another osprey standing up inside the nest

Weather Conditions: 90, mostly sunny but hazy SW4mph with higher breezy moments

Other Activity: Drove by 3:45 and saw one nestling on edge giving a couple flaps. on edge-side facing 107. Observed from $:03-4:08pm and saw nothing on nest, but an osprey flying fairly near. Drove by as went home and saw adult perched on nearby utility pole.
