General Comments: The nestling has really grown. Was flapping its wings! Definitely more active than one week ago today. (Forgot to post) last eeek the adult left the nest for awhile to go fish and came back with one. This week the adult flew off for about thirty minutes. There was no sign of anything in the nest until the nestling starting flapping its wings. Then saw another head. So the other adult was in the nest or there is another nestling. Due to the extreme height of the nest and its depth I just can’t say. But the flapping wings was so great to see!

I only see one nestling at this visit and it is getting pretty big. I will send a photo to let you see the size. It looks almost big enough to band!
