Weather Conditions: Sunny, light wind, cooler temperatures after very severe thunderstorms last night
Other Activity: One small osprey perched on nest. He/she flew off as I approached on paddle board. Flew over to channel marker 3 and joined another small osprey. Paddled around in harbor and watched 4 osprey - 2 larger and 2 smaller flying overhead in circular pattern.
Observation Method: Paddleboarding in harbor - paddled down to national grid tower nest too.
General Comments: When the 4 osprey were circling overhead the underside of their wings were beautiful. I could not tell if it was a lesson for the family to learn to hunt/fish.

Weather Conditions: Warm, breezy, ~80F
Other Activity: Observed two adults flying and calling near the nest - I think this was more flight demonstrations for the little one... I suspect it has fledged but I have not yet seen an empty nest. The adults were flying circles near the nest, over land, so obviously not fishing. At one point the two adults flew off and the fledgling climbed back into the nest and was resting.
