For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Other Activity: Osprey were circling and flying around the harbor from the area of the nest to lighthouse point/Brackenberry Beach. I did not observe any of the birds catch a fish but they appeared to be searching for food.

Other Activity: Both fledglings were perched on different trees near the nest. I am only seeing the 2 fledglings at a time for the last week or so. Maybe both Ollie & Olivia have left the area or maybe I'm just not catching sight of them.

General Comments: One of the two juvenile osprey was on the nest. Just looking around. This is the second time (also 8/23) I've only seen one. Wondering if the others have left. Maybe the others are fishing but usually make an appearance if I wait long enough. Curious this one wouldn't be with them. On 8/23 he was on the other light stand nest that they abandoned after rebuilding. Quiet not making any vocalizations.

Other Activity: What a grand sho the family gave this evening, as they settled onto the tower next to the next. I have a view out my window. what a majestic sight, four all on the same tower.

General Comments: this sighting confirms that there are 2 adults and 2 juveniles. Majestic!
