For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. General Comments: Kept checking in on nest: 8:16am, then around 10, noon, 1pm up to 5:00pm. For most of that time I saw both adults on the nest. At 4:25pm I noted an adult on the pole nearest the marsh; he/she was eating a fish. It appears to me that some re-arrangement of nesting materials has taken place.
