For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: Over the last 3 days, we have seen a pair, both male and female, perched together, feeding, bringing material to the nest, and possibly even attempting to copulate. Presumably this is the same pair as last year.

General Comments: Pair on the 2022 nest. Great to see. Been waiting for the second one. Nest repairs occuring and another watcher said the male had just brought a big fish in. Doing some fly arounds too. They, if the same pair, had started out on this nest last year and moved to the one closer to first base shortly after the female's arrival. We'll see what happens!
