For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

General Comments: Active nest great to see. In question is, will there be an egg in the nest? Very hard to see because of limited distance view of nest.

Other Activity: Male sitting on the pole perch near the platform and the female was sitting on a large rock about 50 yards away from the male on the marsh grass.

Observation Method: On foot with binoculars.

General Comments: The nest looks well built and about as tall as it was last season.
