General Comments: HOPEFULLY this is not going to be the same scenario as last year. Female on nest #1 and male eating fish in marsh perch.....a single female (hopefully not) is bringing her own nesting material on #2 platform and screaming at the male...very similar to last year. Male brought fish to female in #1 let her eat a bit, then flew back down to marsh platform with it. Hmmmm....Now I know typically they go back to their same nest year after year, but how about with last years scenario...these three are breaking the mold!

Other Activity: At the beginning of the observation both osprey were sitting approximately 30 yards apart high up on two red maple trees on a marsh island approximately 100 yards north of the nest platform.

Observation Method: On foot next to my car with binoculars in two locations on Middle Road.

General Comments: They left the maple trees, and flew above the marsh and the Parker River, possibly looking for fish. The female went and sat on the nest while the male flew away toward the GDA campus. Perhaps the Mill River, which is also in that direction, is a good place to also look for fish.
