For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Weather Conditions: mostly cloudy, 57 degrees, light to moderate wind, high tide, pretty clear view across the marsh through the scope

Other Activity: I was scanning between 5 nests, but checking Dean more than the others. The entire time 1 osprey was down in the nest in that incubating position. The other osprey was going out into the marsh and then back into the nest. It did this 4 times while I watched. The final time it either brought in a fish or marsh fluff/debris, but I couldn't tell. I first observed this pair at the nest on March 25th. I will recheck tomorrow to see if she still appears to be inclubating.
