Weather Conditions: 57 degrees, partly cloudy, 15 mph NE

Other Activity: I heard the resident osprey calling to challenge interlopers and saw the resident male on platform 1 and the resident female on the nest on platform 2. There were 6 adult ospreys circling high above and calling with the same challenging call. They circled and wheeled high above and passed over the nest at a high altitude. The resident male did not fly from his perch and the interlopers did not challenge him or approach the nest.

Observation Method: from back yard

General Comments: There has been little excitement. The female sits on the nest and is occasionally relieved by the male. I have seen him catch a small striper nearby off Mill Creek and consume it himself.
