For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

General Comments: diff to see from the Manufactory on Rocky Neck; clear view of nest activity, but cannot determine if there are any nestlings

Weather Conditions: Low 70s, nice breeze, sunny

Other Activity: Morning: Pauline is standing at edge of nest, looking down while Bob awaits on nearby marsh post. Mid-day: Pauline cries out, Bob immediately goes to the nest, looks down and flies away. Bob returns with fish, he delivers fish to the nest. Both parents spend the rest of the day together on the rim of the nest. Pauline tears fish up, eats some, but then continually bobs down her beak into the nest. By end of day, Bob has brought several fish to the nest. Cannot see any baby heads yet.

Other Activity: I looked as though the third osprey flew close to the nest and the one on the nest and the other on the upper post fled off. The one which flew onto the nest settled onto the eggs and nest adjusting and one other landed on the lower post.
