For more than 15 years, Greenbelt has been dedicated to Osprey conservation through the construction and maintenance of nesting platforms, data collection, public education, and collaborative research efforts aimed at protecting this once endangered species. Volunteers submit their sightings online, and the most recent sightings are displayed in real-time.

Other Activity: female on nest very restless, moving around, head bobbing. Can't tell if she is actively feeding but this is new activity. No sign of mate.

Other Activity: initially female very quiet; then she started moving around with head going up and down but could not see if she was feeding (no evidence of food in beak). No sign of partner today.

General Comments: When leaving to go to car, observed 2 osprey on chimney of pink house that were not there when I walked to observed this nest.
